Step 1

Caramelize the apples :

  • Let the butter melt in a large non-stick pan.

  • Add your diced apples.

  • Sprinkle 50g of sugar to caramelize them.

  • Set the heat to medium-high.

  • You should see small bubbles forming in the melted butter mixed with the sugar.

  • The apples will start turning golden, then brown, and finally a deep caramelized brown—perfectly caramelized.

Step 2

Preparation of the crêpe
batter :

  • Mix the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl.

  • Gradually add the flour to avoid lumps in your mixture.

  • Pour the batter over your caramelized apples.

  • Cover and cook for 5 to 10 minutes on medium-high heat, then flip the crêpe.

  • Cook until there’s no more liquid, then flip the crêpe again.
